How Triplog Works?

Triplog operates mainly on two technologies:

GSM Cellphone Technology: All communication to and from the unit is done via the GSM-network. Triplog is consequently ready as soon as the trip is finished.
GPS Satellite Navigation: The locations of cars, recorded on the fly via GPS positioning, is transmitted over the GSM-network to the internet server. Also, Triplog records new position of cars every minute.

How to use Triplog?

• Triplog is easy to install, as it requires no integration towards the original electrical system in the car. Triplog unit can be simply connected to the cars battery, and the car is ready to go.
• The unit is remotely configured, enabling access to vehicles’ trip data immediately.
• Once installed Triplog will automatically report every movement of the car, and keeps a detailed list of the routes taken. Both starting address, ending address, kilometers driven, time spent etc. are presented in user friendly web interface, making the car administration both fun and easy.
• The user-friendly web interface has two views, one for the employee and one for the company’s administrator. Both views provide tools for Triplog administration. The admin view can also be used as a fleet monitoring tool, giving the administrator exact location of all vehicles at all times.
• The tracking devices utilize the GSM provider's platform for GSM positioning via the GSM-network. This makes it possible to track the units and display their position in an electronic map.
