Singer Rihanna breaks down while telling Oprah Winfrey about the infamous night she was beaten by then-boyfriend Chris Brown.

Pop star Rihanna has recalled the night she was beaten by Chris Brown, and said the incident left her feeling ashamed.
In an interview with Oprah Winfrey, the singer said she felt protective
of her then-boyfriend after he assaulted her and was concerned people
would think of him as a monster.The incident happened more than three years ago and Rihanna has spoken candidly about it after the US chat show host travelled to the singer's birthplace of Barbados for the interview.
Speaking candidly in an advert for her show, Oprah admitted she had her own preconceived ideas about what the singer was like and what she would say.
Oprah said: "I thought she (Rihanna) was gonna be kind of a badass - kind of a hard edged, rocker pop woman ... nothing could have been further from the truth."
The emotionally charged interview sees the Umbrella singer say: "I lost my best friend. Everything I knew switched, switched in a night, and I couldn't control that.
"It was a weird, confusing space to be in. Because as angry as I was - as angry and hurt and betrayed - I just felt like he made that mistake because he needed help. And who's going to help him?"
She also said the days and weeks after the incident left her feeling confused and ashamed.
