SecurBanking, Biometric Authentication for Core Banking

Core banking system is at the heart of every bank’s operations. In today’s digital world, mounting security threats have resulted in creating the need of tightened security for core banking. Modules

Admin Console: This module enables complete administrative operations and configuration tasks – user profiles can be set up or core banking usernames can be linked to employee fingerprints, and other administrative tasks can be carried out.
Admin Console consists of two major modules

• Enrollment Module: This module enables enrollment of users accessing core banking system using a live fingerprint scanner connected to each PC.
• Audit Log: This module ensures information integrity with an automated log of all successful and failed fingerprint authentication attempts into the core banking system.

Authentication Module This module authenticates every enrolled member of the core banking system. In the first level, the core banking system will authenticate user-id and password of a user. If successful, the system will invoke the second level for fingerprint authentication of the user.
